Meet Dr. Louis Tieu

Dr. Tieu was originally born on the island of Taiwan.  He immigrated with his immediate family to Rowland Heights, California during the summer of 1980.  He was a product of the California’s public education system.  After graduating from Rowland high school he attended University of California, Riverside and then on to University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry.  He was selected to continue his specialty training in oral & maxillofacial surgery at University of California, San Francisco and in medicine at University of California, Davis.

The vision of his practice was conceptualized over the years while he was in training at University of California, San Francisco and University of California, Davis.  During his training he observed many ways to provide the best care possible to patients and at the same time provide a safe and enjoyable environment for the care providers.  Dr. Tieu envisions a professional work place where systems are in place to help care providers to perform at their optimal conditions so they can enjoy their time spend with patients.  The concept of teamwork will be vital to the longevity of all who provide care.  Mutual respect and compassion among teammates and their patients will set this practice apart from just another place of work.

Building mutually beneficial relationships between referrals (patients, other care providers, staff of other health care offices, etc.) and our practice is the foundation our successful practice. We take pride in helping our patient through their illness, not just to take care of their disease.  Each team member’s role is just as important as the next team member’s role in providing the care our patients need and want.  These goals and visions are what we strive for everyday.

In Dr. Tieu’s spare time, he spend his time with his wife and three children. He also enjoys reading topics on leadership, mentorship, and Tom Clancy novels.
